File Format
We recommend submitting files in JPEG, PNG or TIFF format to maintain quality and color accuracy.

Color Mode
Use RGB color mode for best results, as it provides a wider color gamut and better vibrancy in digital printing. Ensure that images are 8-bit for optimal compatibility. If working in CMYK, convert to RGB before submission.

Resolution
Set the file resolution to 150-300 DPI to ensure sharp and detailed prints. Lower resolutions may result in pixelation.

Seamless Patterns
If creating a repeating pattern, ensure the design is seamless by aligning edges correctly. Test the pattern by tiling it before submission. Additionally, check for unwanted white pixels along the edges, as they can affect the final print quality.

File Size & Scale
Designs should be set at the actual print size or in a proportional scale. Always verify dimensions before submission.

How to reduce the file size for fabric printing without losing quality?

In Photoshop, select: Image -> Mode -> RGB Color and 8 Bits/Channel

Choose resolution
In Photoshop, select: Image -> Image Size -> 150 DPI (Pixels/Inch)

Save file

In Photoshop, select: File -> Save As -> TIFF -> Save

Select Image Compression
After saving the TIFF file, you will be able to select compression. Please select LZW.

Done! Your file has good quality and a small file size.

Why does my design look blurry in the editor?

Users often ask why their designs appear to be of poor quality in the website editor and whether they will look the same when printed. Let's clarify this now.
No, the print quality will not be the same
The final print quality will be exactly as in the file you upload. To ensure that your files load quickly and are easy to work with in the editor, we intentionally reduce their display quality. This helps minimize the load on your computer while editing.

The print quality is excellent and is not affected by the display in the editor
As seen in the illustrations above, the printed result is excellent, and the low-quality image effect in the editor does not impact the final print quality in any way.

Can I upload files with a resolution of more than 300 dpi?

Yes, we accept higher resolution files. If you upload files with a resolution of more than 300 dpi,  you have the opportunity to enlarge the design scale on the fabric.

What is a linear meter?

What if I can't upload my design?

Accepted Answer

If your files are large and you cannot upload them through the site, please use the wetransfer.com service to upload files and send us your order details to orders@muze.lv.
Placing the order provide the following information: which fabric is ordered, which files go to which fabric, order amount per file, file printing scale and delivery information. We will then clarify all the necessary details and proceed to order fulfilment.

We recommend supplying images in the RGB color space, particularly utilizing the sRGB image profile, for optimal color outcomes. Wondering how to do this? Simply select RGB as your working space and assign the image profile as sRGB (with the full name sRGB IEC61966-2.1) within your editing software.
PANTONE textile color libraries
It's worth noting that certain Pantone color combinations, like 'coated and uncoated,' may not be suitable for fabric printing. While our printing process might not guarantee an exact match every time, we strive to get as close as possible. If an exact match is critical, please get in touch with us before finalizing your order.

How to order a personalized textile product with my design?

It's simple! You need to select a product from the catalog that you want to personalize, then upload your design and customize it on the product as you wish and place an order. Next, we will print the fabric with your unique design, sew it and ship it to you.

No. You can order as much as you need, from 1 piece to a wholesale order!

Status of an order

Accepted Answer

After an order is placed on the site, it queues up and waits for execution. The execution of the order takes no more than the time that was indicated when ordering on the site.
When the order is completed and transferred to the courier service, you will receive an email (to the mailbox specified when placing the order), in which the status of the order will be changed to “shipped”, as well as the track number of your parcel.
In some cases, when the parcel does not have a tracking number (often when sent by regular mail), the tracking number field will be empty.

Can I cancel my order?

You can change or cancel your order if it is still in the waiting queue (for regular orders within 4 hours from the moment of order placement, for rush orders within 1 hour). In this case, a refund will be issued minus the non-refundable transaction fees charged by payment providers or banks (3% + 0.30 EUR).
If your order has already been completed or is in progress, it cannot be canceled or changed.
The refund will be made using the same method that was used to make the payment. We will process a refund within 15 days after the day the order was placed.

Most orders are completed within 2-5 days.
Typical Processing Time
The majority of orders are fulfilled within 2-3 days. The estimated shipping date for your order is displayed on the product page, just below the Upload design button.
Shipping Time
Once your order is ready, the total delivery time depends on the chosen shipping method. Faster shipping options can significantly reduce the time it takes for your package to reach you. We recommend selecting the appropriate shipping method based on your urgency.

Your orders are shipped using FedEx, UPS,  Regular Mail Service and Omniva (for the Baltic States). Delivery time by courier service usually ranges from 1 day to 5 days depending on the selected delivery type.

Is your printing eco-friendly?

We try to do our best to minimize the amount of waste in our production processes.
Our printing processes involve minimum ink and fabric losses. We print only what has been ordered. Our printing technology does not require wet post-processing of the material and therefore we do not use water.
The pre treatment, inks and softener are GOTS 6.0 and OEKO TEX 100 (Class I and II) certified.

What technique and machine do you print with?

Your natural fabric is printed on the best-in-class digital textile printing system Kornit Presto, using GOTS 7.0 and Oeko-tex certified pigment inks and softener. This ensures absolute flexibility in the choice of design, repeat size, and color scheme.
For synthetic fabrics, we use sublimation printing on high-speed DGI machines with very fine droplets, allowing us to achieve super high print quality.

Pretreatment is an important step in the fabric printing process because it helps to prepare the fabric for printing and ensures that the design is printed accurately and with the best possible results.
Pretreatment typically involves applying a chemical solution to the fabric before printing. This solution helps to improve the adhesion of the ink to the fabric and ensures that the color is absorbed evenly and correctly. Pretreatment can also help to prevent the fabric from shrinking, fading, or bleeding after printing.
In addition to these benefits, pretreatment can also help to improve the overall quality of the print.
Also, it is very important that this process provides good performance to external factors that affect the fabric, such as washing, crocking, etc. Well, also, it is necessary for the colors to be deep and bright.
In summary, pretreatment is an important step in the fabric printing process because it helps to prepare the fabric for printing, improves the adhesion of the ink, and ensures that the final product is of the highest possible quality.

What is the difference between DTF printing and sublimation?

DTF (Direct to Film) and sublimation are both digital printing techniques used for custom textile products, but they work differently and are suited to different fabrics and use cases. Choosing the right method affects color vibrancy, washfastness, hand-feel, and which fabrics you can print on.
How DTF printing works
DTF stands for Direct to Film. In this process, the design is first printed onto a special transfer film using pigment inks, then a hot-melt adhesive powder is applied, and the film is heat-pressed onto the garment or textile. The ink layer sits on top of the fabric surface as a thin flexible film.
DTF works on virtually any fabric — cotton, polyester, blends, canvas, denim — regardless of fabric color, including dark backgrounds. It does not require fabric pretreatment before printing.
Best suited for: finished garments (t-shirts, hoodies, tote bags), mixed-fiber fabrics, dark-colored items, designs with fine detail or photographic elements.
How sublimation printing works
Sublimation uses heat to convert dye from a solid state directly into gas, which then bonds permanently with the polyester fibers of the fabric at a molecular level. The ink becomes part of the fiber rather than sitting on top of it, which makes the print extremely durable and breathable — it does not crack, peel, or fade with washing.
Sublimation only works on fabrics with a high polyester content (typically 80% or above). It cannot produce true black or dark backgrounds on dark-colored fabrics, as the dye requires a white or light base to show accurately.
Best suited for: sportswear, swimwear, leggings, flags, banners, soft signage — all made from polyester or recycled polyester fabric.

How bulk pricing works
While there is no minimum, pricing scales with volume. Fabric printing rates decrease at the following approximate thresholds:
1–9 meters: standard rate

50–99 meters: ~20–25% discount

Browse our fabric catalog and select the fabric type that suits your project — cotton, linen, jersey knit, viscose/Ecovero, lycra, polyester, or waterproof. Each fabric page lists the printing width, weight (g/m²), and available print technique (digital direct or sublimation).
Step 2: Order a sample pack first (recommended)
If you're placing a bulk order for the first time or working with a new design, we strongly recommend ordering our Fabric Swatch Pack first. This allows you to assess hand-feel, color accuracy, and print quality before committing to a large run.
Step 3: Prepare your print file
Your artwork file should be:

Can I get a VAT invoice for my business order?

Yes. Muzefab issues VAT invoices for all business orders. Here's how invoicing works depending on your location.
EU companies with a valid VAT number
If your business is registered in the EU and has a valid VAT number, you can purchase tax-exempt. At checkout, enter your company name and VAT number in the billing section. The system will validate your VAT number against the EU VIES database. If validated, VAT will not be charged on your order, and your invoice will reflect a zero-rated intra-EU B2B supply.
Your invoice will include your company name, address, VAT number, our VAT number (LV40203023205), and a breakdown of goods and services.
Non-EU companies (US, UK, and other countries)
For companies outside the EU, orders are invoiced without EU VAT. Depending on your country, import duties or local taxes may apply upon delivery — these are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend checking your local customs regulations for textile imports before placing a large order.

This is different from our print-on-demand catalog products — with cut and sew, you control the pattern, silhouette, construction, and labeling.
