The Faux Silk Pareo is made from Faux Silk Satin, an 85gsm fabric woven from 100% recycled polyester with a smooth, lustrous surface that mimics real silk. It has a soft satin sheen and a fluid, weighty drape that makes a pareo work as a beach cover-up, sarong, shawl or styling layer. The recycled polyester base takes sublimation ink exceptionally well, so colours come out vivid and stay that way through sun, salt water and repeated washing.
Each pareo is produced using a print, cut and sew process: your design is printed directly onto the fabric before being cut and finished with a narrow rolled hem. Available in three sizes, 55" x 55", 55" x 71", 55" x 79".

Care instructions
Machine wash at 30°C (86°F). Dry flat. Do not tumble dry. Cool iron if needed.

Tips for best results
- Extend your design across the full file including the bleed area. The outer 0.6" on each side is trimmed and rolled into the hem, so nothing important should sit there.
- The satin sheen reflects light, so colours can shift slightly with viewing angle and lighting. Rich, saturated tones and metallic-feel palettes photograph especially well on this fabric.
- Large-scale designs work better than fine detail at this size. A pareo is viewed draped and in motion, so bold patterns, gradients and painterly artwork hold up best.
- Border designs are a strong fit: a patterned edge with an open centre frames the body well when the pareo is tied.
- Each size requires its own print file. If you order multiple sizes with the same design, prepare a separate file scaled to each one.
- Use high-resolution files (150 DPI minimum at final print size) for sharp results on fabric.
