The Linen Cotton Fabric Banner is made from Linen Cotton Plain — a 55% linen, 45% cotton blend at 120 gsm. Lighter than pure linen, this fabric has a softer drape and slightly finer surface texture while retaining the natural matte character of linen-dominant blends. Pigment printing on this composition produces warm, understated color tones that sit within the weave. The lighter weight means the banner hangs with a natural, relaxed drape — particularly effective in indoor settings and for ceiling or suspended installations.
Where it works best
Well suited to weddings, celebrations, and intimate event settings where a natural material palette is part of the visual brief — indoor ceremonies, reception spaces, boutique retail installations, and gallery environments. The lighter weight and softer drape make it a good choice for layered or suspended arrangements. Also effective in theatre and event design where a linen aesthetic is required at a lower cost than pure linen.
Finishing & Mounting
All banners are finished with a 5 cm (2") tunnel hem at top and bottom for mounting on a pole, pipe, or track system. The bottom hem can be loaded with a weighted bar or tube to stabilise the banner. Side edges are finished with a 1 cm double-folded seam.
Care instructions
Machine wash at 30°C (86°F). Dry flat.

Tips for best results
- Do not place important elements too close to the edges — the tunnel hem at top and bottom will obscure approximately 5 cm on each end.
- Extend your design to the full bleed area to avoid unprinted borders.
- Avoid large solid fills in very dark colors — these may show slight uneven absorption in the natural weave.
- Use files at 150 DPI minimum at the final print size for good results.
